LINE is a popular messaging app in Asia, with over 800 million users. This LINE Official Account integration lets you respond to messages directly from our platform.
Limitation: LINE desktop app doesn't support Quick Replies
Press Create LINE official account and fill up the required information
Once you have your LINE Official Account ready, you may start configuring LINE Official Account
Navigate to Settings and select Messaging API from the side navigation menu. Press Enable Messaging API.
Use your LINE account to link or register a Developer account.
Enter a Provider name or Select an existing Provider
Enter the link to your business's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. However, this step is optional and you may skip it if you don't have the information to provide.
Press OK to save changes
Navigate to Response Settings. Enable Webhooks in Detailed setting section.
Once you have configured your LINE Official account, you are ready to connect your LINE Official account with Alexa360 platform.
Please make sure you have created and configured a LINE Official account before proceeding to this step.
In order to connect to a LINE Official account, you will require the following: -
LINE Channel ID
LINE Channel Secret
LINE Channel Access
Webhook URL provided by Alexa360 platform
From Settings Module, navigate to the menu item, Channels
Press Add Channel and choose LINE. The Connecting Telegram dialog should open up.
Navigate to Settings and select Messaging API from the side navigation menu.
From the LINE Official Account Platform, add the Channel ID and Channel Secret to the corresponding fields at Alexa360 platform
After you have filled in both values, follow through the instructions by pressing NEXT.
You will be provided with a Webhook URL at Alexa360 platform. Add the value to LINE Official Accounts Platform and save it.
Press DONE to complete the setup
Once you completed the setup, any messages sent to your LINE Official Account will now be received in your Workspace.
From Settings Module, navigate to the menu item, Channels
Once you have located the LINE channel, press Configure
You can configure the following:
Channel name - Name used internally to identify the account
Important: As for the other details, take extra note while updating as it might fail to receive messages from your LINE Official Account.
Press Done to update the channel configuration
To connect a LINE channel a LINE Official Account is required. You can create a LINE Official Account
LINE Official Accounts are free to create. However, the Free plan has a messaging limit of 500 or 1000 messages depending on the region. LINE provides two additional paid plans, Light and Standard.
You can purchase a Premium ID for $12.00 (Yearly).
A flex message can be sent out with DialogFlow custom payload response, however, the message will not be shown on the platform.
